Creating a Budget

As every student knows, money is always tight. Between the partying and the purchase of books and tuition, money is always on the mind. So what’s a student to do?

Create a budget. By creating and using a monthly budget planner, one can effectively plan and spend the money that you have.

But how to do it? My first bit of advice is to head to Gail Vaz-Oxlade’s (www.gailvazoxlade.com) website. It’s full of handy articles and resources to help you get started with your budget, help you start saving money, or get you out of the debt that school has put you in. She is the one behind the television shows, “Til Debt Do Us Part”, or my personal favourite “Princess”.

Will you get started on this now? What have you got to lose!
