Procrastination is probably one of the things that I do best. But it’s not the best thing for you. Sure, you tell yourself that you work better under pressure, and that might be, but wouldn’t it be better to know that you have gotten everything done and that what you’re reading won’t have to be put on hold. Or that video game that you’re so close to beating won’t make you later regret and stress out.

Here are 5 relaxation tips/ relaxation exercises:

1.     Meditation Meditating can help as it can ease anxiety and relieve stress.

2.     Breathing - If you have any problems, issues or conflict, breathing can help reverse any issues and can lower blood pressure.

3.     Count your blessings - Making a list of everything you are grateful for and read it out to yourself.

4.     Having a banana - Eating a banana can help you unwind, boost energy and replace potassium, which gets removed by stress.

5.     Deep muscle relaxation - Spending 20 minutes stretching different muscles in rotation can help release tension from the body, give relaxation and relax the mind.

Ending Question: What other methods do you guys use to relieve stress? Comment them below!

  1. I use aromatherapy whenever I'm stressed. Lavender is clinically proven to reduce feelings of stress and tension. The calm smell of my lavender and clary sage essential oils help to put me at ease and keep me calm and relaxed in deep times of stress
