Didn’t get the grade you wanted on that test? These are some
great tips on how to study.
Maybe no one ever showed you how to study in college, or high school, whatever we're not judging! Not to worry, we got you covered!
- Understanding the topics in your own words is a great way to retain the information. Memorization does not always help to remember info. Using your own words will help you remember and will eliminate any possibility of plagiarism.
- Get creative with studying: Use a variety of methods. Study notes, quizzes, video, audio, and flashcards. If you use a variety of study methods you have higher chance of storing the information into your Long-term memory.
- Ask questions! You know how they say, “no question is a stupid question”? Its true! Don’t be afraid to ask, especially if that’s how you learn.
- Set goals and make a plan. Its important to set goals, especially in terms of grade. Making a study plan will help you achieve the grades you want.
